Exterior painting accounts for the largest part of what we do yearly, so we take it very seriously. It not only is the most efficient way to increase the value and re-sale-ability of a property but the primary practical reason to paint exteriors is to provide a protective coating that seals exterior siding and related exterior materials. Exterior painting will prolong a structure’s lifespan, strengthen structural integrity, and even enhance the R value of a home. We know that the preparation of exterior surfaces is the most important part of painting exteriors and implement various techniques to make sure that our product can last as long as possible in the extreme micro-climates of Central Oregon. Having painted for my entire career here I have the benefit of learning what products and methods work best. We also know that the aesthetic is as important as longevity and can create any look that is desired.
Preparation and application of top coat material to all interior surfaces including but not limited to gypsum board, textured drywall, wood, vinyl, brick, paneling, ship lap siding, wainscoting, metal, therma-tru, and composite materials. We specialize in creating a breathable, ventilated, clean, and systematic method for interior painting. Attention to detail is a high priority to us, as well as keeping our presence as non-obstructive as possible while compartmentalizing projects in an effort to complete sections while working in shared spaces. We endeavor to evolve as the industry does, implementing the latest tools, products, and techniques to provide the highest level of quality and sustainability.
Wood is a beautiful and unique material but can be problematic to maintain as we here in Central Oregon get such extreme weather conditions from year to year. The unforgiving UV rays of the sun and years of use naturally slowly erode the once bright and fresh finish of the wood. Ongoing changes in interior design, as well as pragmatic cost efficiency in regards to selling a property, necessitate flooring/ doors/ cabinets to be transformed. Campbell’s Custom Finishes inc. has worked with a singular mindset, to strive to maintain the luster and character of wood finishes and protect their integrity and longevity. We use the hardiest of products and have a versatile bag of tricks including creating custom finishes through tinting our own lacquer, spar urethane, conversion varnish, or other clear coats to reproduce vintage styles as well as new unorthodox and vibrant colors (such as blue, purple, green) while still maintaining the unique look of wood (natural wood grain/knotholes). We can also transform wood into completely smooth surfaces removing wood grain, filling knotholes/imperfections and applying an opaque topcoat to suit any desired look.
Apply drywall tape and mud to seams, corners, holes and defects. Sand, re-apply joint compound to desired specifications and spray texture, hand texture or knockdown texture depending on what is desired, Apply generous portion of PVA drywall sealer throughout.
